Hands

I’m a huge fan of hands. I think that they are as much a reflection of somebody as their eyes, just in a less direct way. You can’t really be dazzled by someone’s hands, like you might someone’s eyes. (Although there are a few rare sets of hands out there that are amazing…) I find [...]

I’m back.

Hey gang,
I’m back from my recent one week long lack of internet. And it feels great… but I have mixed feelings about it.
Is it a coincidence that in the last week, whilst not having the internet, I’ve polished my compositions, spent hours tidying the house and gardening, had phone conversations with people I otherwise would’ve [...]

Barber vs. Men’s Hairdresser

In Geelong I go to a really good men’s hairdresser called Matty G’s Cutting Room. It’s fairly edgy and modern, as you can tell by the hip name. However, Matt is a normal bloke (not gay, goes to the gym, wife and kids, likes to surf, etc), his parlour is liscenced so you can have [...]

Randomness

I bought and installed a terabyte harddrive yesterday. It’s working fine and everything, except for one unforseen hickup, which occured when I moved all of my media files to my new drive, so I could have a Media and a System HD. Some amongst you wouldn’t be surprised when I say [...]

glass

Today, at Saver’s, I bought two Johnny Walker scotch glasses for a dollar each. Now that’s value in anyone’s book.

Music

The other day, I was talking to someone who knows a fair bit of math and science. And, they thought that they were smart because of it. Well, they probably were. But smart is kind of relative. They though they were smart, relative to the rest of us, because they knew a fair bit of [...]

Cup o’ tea?

I’ve re-discovered the awesomeness in a lovely cup of tea. I like it black, with a bit of sugar. It’s good in the morning with both first breakfast and second breakfast. I wish I was a hobbit.

Riding

It’s night time, raining gently and he rides his bike amongst the giant buildings in the city.  The wet hiss of the tires on the glistening road gets louder as he speeds down the hill. There’s the occasional crackle and ping of loose stones and pebbles. Creaking and groaning of the old bike protesting. The [...]
